White House Writers Group, Inc.

Strategy and messaging for times of challenge and change.

Based in Washington, DC, we serve a worldwide clientele.

Our aim is to understand clients’ complex stories, then transform those stories into clear and compelling narratives that lead to high-value results.

We identify key audiences and frame arguments that are most important to them.

WHWG brings the most powerful tools of high stakes communications and strategy to frame and place a client’s message exactly how and where it needs to be heard.

Issue advocacy … thought leadership … corporate and brand reputation: we partner with our clients to achieve results.

Utilizing Today’s Tech to Position Your Message

WHWG has shaped national and global conversations around transportation, manufacturing, agriculture, energy, medical technology, high technology, artificial intelligence, global trade, the environment, finance, law, regulation and much more.  We use communications technologies as old as oratory and as young as the latest App.

Getting Your Message Out

We have written or caused to be written and placed many hundreds of op-eds and other pieces in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, Financial Times, Los Angeles Times, MIT Sloan Management Review, Forbes, USA Today, The Hill, RealClearPoltics and its subsites, National Review Online and much more. We have written and produced television and radio spots, organized global conferences and webinars, scripted and schedules, speaker tours, radio tours, and web-fan meet ups. We have given media and speaker training for top executives at crucial moments.

Make it Stand Out

The leader of an embattled country is to address the American nation (no, not THAT embattled country, but one you know). An acquiring corporation races to build support in hundreds of communities, among the acquired company’s employees, and with regulators. Defense attorneys are preparing their summation in a class-action confrontation with hundreds of millions, even billions on the table. A globally recognized think tank seeks guidance in developing a presence using a breakthrough communications techology. An advertiser seeks a new way to make an old message compelling. We are asked to take on these kinds of assignments … every day, every month, every year.

A Departing WHWG Senior Director Tells her Experience

In January (2023) a longtime WHWG senior director took a prominent position at an innovative think tank. Her farewell posting on Facebook captured life at our firm:

After five years, today is my last day with the White House Writers Group. Alongside so many wonderful colleagues, I’ve worked with an amazing group of clients from classical education to health care, manufacturing to homeland security, agriculture to financial services. During the lockdown we wrote a book on the communication revolution; we’ve drafted and placed countless opeds, hosted events and webinars, ran digital campaigns, organized podcasts, designed websites and pitch decks, set up radio tours and TV interviews, and conducted media training… It’s been a great run!

On Monday, I’m stepping into my new role as Vice President at a wonderful organization.

Here’s to the next chapter!
